PSD will abandon the term "progressive" from its statute and will adopt Christian-democratic, national, and traditional values, announced Paul Stănescu, emphasizing that "without God, nothing is." He specified that this change reflects the current identity of the party, which considers itself a promoter of Romania's interests, and not of ideological experiments. The modification of the statute will be voted on at the congress on November 7, when Claudiu Manda will take over the leadership of PSD.
