Daniel Zamfir, leader of the PSD senators, said that his party will not leave the governing coalition, emphasizing that PSD is the largest party in this alliance. He called on USR to review its attitude, especially after the boycott of former president Ion Iliescu's funeral. Zamfir said that PSD will not vote a no-confidence motion against its own government, despite the frustrations expressed by some members, such as Marius Budăi, on infrastructure. He also criticized the repeated appointments of USR members to the boards of state companies.
