Claudiu Manda, the general secretary of the PSD, stated on Tuesday that a campaign is underway trying to convince Romanians that without Ilie Bolojan there are no solutions for the country. Manda emphasizes that Romania does not depend on a single person and that it no longer wants a prime minister who places the entire burden of governance on the shoulders of the citizens. He highlighted the economic issues under Bolojan's government, such as the 10.7% inflation and technical recession.
Manda stated that the results of PSD governments, such as the increase in pensions and salaries, are not illusions, but concrete achievements. He also emphasized that Romania needs leaders who build for the people, not politicians who consider themselves indispensable. In this context, the PNL has asked the PSD to propose a prime minister from its ranks to resolve the political crisis, otherwise to acknowledge their inability to govern.
