The Social Democratic Party (PSD) announced that it is open to discussions with the designated Prime Minister, Eugen Tomac, to form a parliamentary majority that will support the future Government. The interim president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, emphasized, in a Facebook post, the importance of quickly forming a new Executive, stating that Romania urgently needs a Government. Grindeanu mentioned that PSD wants to understand Tomac's vision for the government program and the composition of the executive team.
After consultations with the designated Prime Minister, the conclusions will be analyzed in the party's leadership structures. Additionally, Grindeanu listed the essential conditions for supporting the future Government, including resuming investments, protecting low-income individuals, and supporting SMEs. Thus, PSD aims to contribute to economic stimulation and the recovery of lost jobs.
