The National Permanent Bureau of the PSD meets on Monday at the central headquarters to decide the calendar for the internal consultation regarding whether or not to exit the government. The meeting starts at 10:00 and will take place in a hybrid system, with physical and online participation. The president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, emphasized that the decisions will be influenced by the adoption of the state budget for 2026, as well as by the way in which governmental activity has been conducted. The internal consultation will allow PSD members to decide whether it is appropriate to change the prime minister. Grindeanu will go to Brussels next week to inform the European Socialist Party about the party's internal assessment. He mentioned that the PSD will not vote for a minority government and will not form an alliance with AUR.
