The PSD leadership is meeting today to analyze the Government's measures and the replacement of the prefects

The PSD leadership is meeting on Monday, during a meeting of the National Permanent Bureau, to analyze the government measures that the Social Democratic ministers are due to adopt in the coming period. The meeting takes place after the installation of the new Government and marks the coordination of the party’s positions regarding the main executive decisions.

The agenda includes the measures prepared by the PSD ministers, as well as the anticipated changes at the level of public administration. According to the information presented, following the formation of the new Cabinet, prefects are expected to be appointed in several counties.

In the same context, the Social Democrats are also expected to analyze the replacement of the PNL and USR representatives who currently hold prefect positions. Prefects are the Government’s representatives in the territory and coordinate decentralized public services, so the changes may have an impact on county administration.
