Florin Barbu, former PSD Minister of Agriculture, stated that the social democrats will not form a government with AUR, but are collaborating for the motion of no confidence against the Bolojan Government.

Florin Barbu, former Minister of Agriculture from the PSD party, stated that there is no intention for the social democrats to form a government with AUR, but only a collaboration for submitting a motion of censure against the Government of Ilie Bolojan. Barbu confirmed that he will vote for the motion, emphasizing that the decision to collaborate with AUR is strictly related to this action and not to a potential joint government. He mentioned that PSD has the responsibility to protect its voters, stating that "any Romanian who voted for a political party must be protected." Additionally, the leaders of AUR and PSD, Petrișor Peiu and Marian Neacșu, clarified that no aspects related to a future governmental collaboration have been discussed, mentioning that there are no efforts in this regard.
