Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that Romania is facing a complicated situation, having a "shattered Parliament", which complicates the formation of majorities. Nevertheless, he is determined to ensure the functioning of the government with those who remain in the coalition and to demonstrate that better results can be achieved without blockages.

Bolojan emphasized the importance of continuing major works funded by European funds, such as those for highways, schools, and hospitals, in order not to lose the allocated money. He mentioned that a government that maintains budgetary discipline is essential to avoid repeating past financial problems.

"Romania needs a government that works even in this situation; if on Thursday the PSD ministers withdraw, we are ready to replace these ministers with those who remain in the other ministries, thus continuing the governmental activity for a few very important priorities, the most important and urgent of which is the completion of major works that are underway, funded by European funds, for highways, schools, and hospitals in Romania, in every locality, in part, because otherwise we lose this money if we do not do what is necessary", said Prime Minister Bolojan.

The Prime Minister stated that, in the event of the withdrawal of PSD ministers, he is prepared to replace them with those from the other ministries, thus continuing governmental activity. Bolojan concluded by stating that a smaller and more efficient government will be able to deliver better results for the country.

"In these days, when there will remain a government without PSD, until a motion of censure is submitted, I will demonstrate that much better results can be achieved than in conditions where there are blockages, where there are brakes in the government, in conditions where ministers work to achieve performance. I am convinced that the government will work cheaper, with fewer ministers, and will deliver better results in the near future, not to make comparisons, but because it is a necessity for our country", added Bolojan.
