Ten years after the tragedy at the Colectiv Club, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that the legislative changes implemented for fire safety and medical interventions are insufficient. He emphasized that the reaction of institutions is essential for protecting the lives of citizens, a reality reaffirmed by the recent tragic events in Rahova. Bolojan expressed compassion for the victims of Colectiv and underscored that this incident must be a symbol of responsibility and solidarity in society.
He stressed the importance of fair laws and their enforcement, mentioning that a change in the way the state interacts with citizens is necessary. The Prime Minister highlighted that regaining trust between the state and society is vital, involving civil society and holding the political class accountable. Bolojan encouraged an active and responsible approach to real issues, to avoid past mistakes and strengthen respect for the law.
