Following discussions with coalition leaders, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of finalizing the local administration reform, with a dedicated working group that will analyze measures until mid-September. The objective is to reduce the number of positions in local public administration by 10%, in the context of a significant budget deficit. Bolojan stressed the need for collaboration and adherence to the commitments made during the formation of the coalition, highlighting that efficiency in central administration is also essential. He mentioned that holding a public office must have a real purpose, not just a formal one.
