Alexandru Munteanu, appointed Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, has begun public consultations to develop the government program, already having a discussion with approximately 100 representatives of the business environment. The purpose of these meetings is to identify economic challenges and priorities, so that the program is based on real solutions and collaborates with the private sector.
Munteanu addressed topics such as access to European funds, digitalization of public services, adaptation of agriculture, and other relevant subjects. He was also nominated by President Maia Sandu, and according to the Constitution, he has 15 days to request the vote of confidence from Parliament. Munteanu has extensive experience in the economic and financial field, having held positions at the National Bank of Moldova and the World Bank, and is known for his work in promoting French culture in Moldova.
