The president of PNL and interim prime minister, Ilie Bolojan, announced on Saturday in Timișoara that his party will no longer collaborate with PSD in the future. Bolojan explained that, following the experience of the last 10 months of governance, PNL believes that PSD has avoided responsibility and propagated lies, which has led to blockages in the necessary reforms for Romania. In the event that PSD is in power, PNL will take on the role of opposition. Bolojan also presented PNL's objectives for the upcoming period, emphasizing the importance of finding a governance formula that does not avoid responsibility.
In the medium term, PNL aims to become an alternative for Romanians who want the modernization of the country, adherence to rules for all, and the development of local communities. He emphasized his commitment to reforming the party and bringing in new people, leveraging the experience of those who have demonstrated performance.
