Alexandru Muraru, vice president of PNL, accuses an assault on the party after the suspension of the decisions of the Congress from June by the Bucharest Tribunal.

PNL Vice President, Alexandru Muraru, stated that the party is under an "unprecedented assault" after the Bucharest Tribunal suspended the decisions of the PNL Congress from June 21.

Muraru emphasized that the decisions of the congress remain legitimate and valid, and the liberals will not accept the imposition of a prime minister or a governing coalition against their political decisions. The tribunal's decision, although not final, is enforceable, suspending all acts adopted by the Extraordinary Congress of PNL until the final resolution of the case.

Muraru compared the current situation to the siege of 1946, accusing a hostile attempt to take over the party.

He criticized the suspension of the political decision not to govern with PSD and reaffirmed that the party's sovereignty belongs to the congress.

In view of new consultations at Cotroceni, Muraru conveyed that PNL will not accept an imposed prime minister.
