Ilie Bolojan declared that PNL will not be part of a coalition with PSD and will go into opposition in case PSD enters the government.

The interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, president of PNL, announced that his party will no longer collaborate with PSD and, in the event that PSD forms a new government, PNL will opt for opposition.

The statement was made in the context of consultations at the Cotroceni Palace for the formation of a new government. Bolojan emphasized that PSD, which generated the current political crisis, should take responsibility and propose solutions. He mentioned the difficulties of functioning in a majority coalition, considering the fragmentation of Parliament.

Regarding the possibility of a technocratic government, Bolojan stated that PNL will analyze the proposal, but emphasized that the presence of PSD in the government would make effective collaboration impossible. Consultations with President Nicușor Dan will continue, and PNL will make decisions based on political developments.
