The interim Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated on Digi24 that the PSD's proposal to appoint Sorin Grindeanu as Prime Minister is legitimate, but criticized the way the social democrats managed the negotiations for forming the Government.
Pîslaru emphasized that, after the government was overthrown, the PSD should have taken responsibility, mentioning that Grindeanu was absent during that period. At the same time, he reaffirmed the support of the PNL-USR-UDMR alliance for Siegfried Mureșan, highlighting his competencies in negotiating the European budget. Pîslaru avoided speculating on possible changes in the PNL's position but emphasized that negotiations cannot start with conditions imposed by the PSD, considering the lack of trust created by the non-compliance with previous agreements.
