In Tuesday's plenary session, Parliament will elect the new presidents of the two chambers, after Ilie Bolojan and Ciprian Șerban were voted into the Executive. Sorin Grindeanu, proposed by the PSD, will take over as president of the Chamber of Deputies, while Mircea Abrudean, backed by the PNL, will be the new president of the Senate. Voting for both positions will take place simultaneously at 12:00. A new Chamber of Deputies' quaestor will also be elected.
