The president of the Right Force declared that PNL and USR should not vote for the investiture of a minority PSD government led by Sorin Grindeanu, warning that such a decision would equate to a "political suicide." Orban emphasized that both parties have been betrayed by PSD, which allied with AUR to overthrow the previous government. He stated that voting for a PSD government would mean taking responsibility for all its decisions, which could lead to a negative public perception.

Orban also said that, once installed, the PSD government will seek to strengthen its parliamentary majority and weaken the influence of PNL and USR. He recommended that the leaders of these parties consult the electorate's opinion before making a decision, suggesting that the majority of supporters are against supporting a PSD government. As a solution, Orban proposed continuing to support a minority executive formed by PNL, USR, and UDMR.
