Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu discussed the Romanian Agency for Investment and External Trade (ARICE), pointing out that some employees speak neither English nor the language of the country to which they are posted, which complicates the work of the agency. With 290 employees and spending €27 million in 2024, Țoiu said ARICE needs significant reform to improve its efficiency. Although there are isolated success stories, feedback from contractors is mixed, and the evaluation of the work will determine the continuity of employees who do not meet language requirements.
