Following their reactions, Gheorghiu stated that she apologizes for the 'inconvenience' of the email sent, inviting parliamentarians to vote according to their own conscience. In a Facebook post, she warned Romanians not to write to parliamentarians, emphasizing that it would be an abuse to disturb them. Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of Environment, intervened in defense of Gheorghiu, criticizing the reactions of AUR parliamentarians. In response, PSD urged all parliamentarians to send the same message to the Deputy Prime Minister, announcing that they would vote for the motion of censure. Additionally, PACE parliamentarians accused Gheorghiu of not consulting them until the moment of the motion.
