Nicușor Dan: Constanța will be connected, in 2-3 years, directly to Western Europe by a highway.

In a joint session of the Chambers of Parliament, President Nicușor Dan presented his message regarding Romania's National Defense Strategy for the period 2025-2030. Among the objectives of the strategy is the construction of a new highway to facilitate access to the Coast. Nicușor Dan highlighted Romania's competitive advantages, including the strategic partnership with the USA and opportunities in the defense industry, anticipating a global increase in military production. He also emphasized the importance of Romania's geographical position as a connectivity point between Europe and Asia, mentioning the Port of Constanța and plans to connect it through highways and railways to Western Europe. Romania has a well-qualified workforce, which contributes to its economic potential.
