Nicusor Dan stated that Moldova is not militarily threatened by Russia, considering that Ukraine is resisting against the Russian aggression. He emphasized that, since Ukraine is a neighboring country that opposes, Moldova cannot be attacked from this direction, and Romania, as a NATO member, will not allow such a situation. Nicusor Dan mentioned that, in the event that pro-Russian forces would have won the elections in Moldova, there would have been a risk of an increase in Russian forces in Transnistria.
