President Nicușor Dan had a constructive meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Ukraine – Southeast Europe Summit in Kiev, where they agreed to develop bilateral relations through joint projects in the fields of connectivity and energy.
Dan emphasized that the Romanian and Serbian minorities in both countries represent a solid bridge between nations, and the dialogue regarding the protection of their rights and the preservation of cultural identity will continue. He also reiterated the importance of supporting Ukraine, highlighting that the security of Southeast Europe, the Western Balkans, and the Black Sea region is interconnected, and events in Ukraine influence the stability of the entire region.
This collaboration reflects the commitment of both countries to strengthen economic and cultural ties.
