Nicolae Robu has filed his candidacy for Timisoara's mayoralty, with the support of the PSD-PNL alliance. Former mayor of Timisoara, Robu, who lost 4 years ago to USR-ist Dominic Fritz, presented his plans for the city, which include projects to modernize hospitals, redevelop educational buildings, create nurseries and develop road infrastructure.
