The three new judges of the Constitutional Court of Romania, Mihai Busuioc, Csaba Asztalos and Dacian Cosmin Dragos, will be sworn in at the Cotroceni Palace, in the presence of President Nicușor Dan. They replace Marian Enache, Livia Stanciu and Attila Varga, who have retired. The appointments sparked controversy, in particular accusations of a lack of legal experience, which were rejected by the Constitutional Court, with criticism coming from AUR MP Dan Tanasă and organizations such as SOS Romania.
