Claudiu Năsui, USR deputy and former Minister of Economy: "State expenditures are not only not decreasing, but are continuing to rise. Entrepreneurs and the private sector have been deceived and are bearing the brunt."

Năsui highlights the fact that, in August, government spending was 59 billion lei, an increase compared to 54 billion last year, while revenues only rose to 49 billion lei. Although the government collected 3.5 billion lei more due to tax increases, spending rose by 6 billion lei, which worsens the budget deficit. The only significant cuts were in Education, and Năsui emphasizes that the private sector suffers because of these policies.
