The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean (PNL), announced on Monday that there are several scenarios for forming a new government, such as the formation of a minority government made up of PSD or a coalition of PNL-USR-UDMR, with the aim of continuing the necessary reforms.

Mircea Abrudean emphasized the importance of negotiations between parties, mentioning that a new Government can be installed quickly, within 24 hours, if an agreement is reached.

He also clarified that PNL did not impose the condition of a rotating government, but only requested the assumption of an agreement that would ensure the continuation of reforms and the implementation of measures from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

Abrudean pointed out the necessity of a government with full powers, warning that a prolonged interim situation is not a desirable situation.
