PSD Deputy Mihai Fifor harshly criticized the emergency ordinance "train" that is set to be adopted by the Government, stating that Education is treated as a "collateral victim". He claims that the budget for Education is minimized, without investments or priorities, and the promises of increasing the hourly pay for teachers have disappeared. Student scholarships remain unchanged, and European funds are seen as temporary solutions, not as public policies.

Fifor emphasizes that teachers are not considered vulnerable employees and that Education is not recognized as a strategic investment, even though it is proclaimed as a pillar of long-term development.
