Manfred Weber, the president of the European People's Party (EPP), announced that he had a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan, in which they discussed the current political situation in the country.
Weber expressed his appreciation for the clear policies implemented by Bolojan within the Government and emphasized the importance of continuing reforms and modernizing Romania. He mentioned that these reforms are expected by citizens and will contribute to strengthening the country in the future.
In his message, the EPP leader sent best wishes for the PNL Congress, which will take place on Sunday. PNL and UDMR are members of the EPP, highlighting the close collaboration between these parties within the European Union.

I thanked him once again for the clear policies he is implementing in the Government and we discussed the political situation in Romania.
Romania must continue its path of reform and modernization. This is what citizens expect, this will make Romania stronger in the future, and this is what Ilie Bolojan and the National Liberal Party are determined to deliver.
