Ionuț Moșteanu reacted firmly to the resignation request made by Călin Georgescu, a former independent candidate in the presidential elections, after the mobilization exercise in Bucharest and Ilfov. Moșteanu emphasized that Georgescu, accused of complicity in an attempt against the constitutional order, is not in a position to criticize the Romanian Army.
The minister reaffirmed his commitment to a strong and well-prepared army, mentioning that patriotism means wanting a respected Romania in NATO and the European Union. Additionally, Moșteanu highlighted the importance of investments in the defense industry and promoting the army among the youth, emphasizing that Romania will continue to collaborate with its allies.
