“Two drones entered Romania’s airspace without authorization, in the northeastern part of the country. The pilots of the Romanian Air Force reacted promptly and professionally,” Dan Neculăescu said in a Facebook post.
The minister emphasized that the rapid response of the Romanian forces contributes to strengthening the North Atlantic Alliance’s common defense. He linked this response to the objective of building “NATO 3.0,” without providing further details about the drones’ route, the duration of their entry into the airspace, or the measures taken after they were intercepted.
