Ioana Dogioiu, the spokesperson for the Government, was forced to explain an incident in which an employee of the press office manhandled journalists at the Parliament. The Government characterized the action as an "excess of zeal." Dogioiu emphasized that the employee did not receive instructions to physically interact with the journalists and that the prime minister's protection is ensured by the SPP team. She expressed regret for the incident and mentioned that disciplinary aspects will be checked. Additionally, Dogioiu rejected the suggestion that the incident was related to the prime minister's style of avoiding journalists' questions, stating that there is no justification for the employee's behavior.
