The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that USR should remain in power, emphasizing that PSD is part of a coalition of 4 parties, a decision made by nearly 5,000 members. He mentioned that, although the coalition is important, there is a possibility of making other decisions if things do not proceed normally.

Grindeanu highlighted that PSD will not adopt a humble attitude and will continue to express its views, correcting deviations when necessary. He also commented on the criticisms regarding the fact that there was only one candidate at the PSD Congress, comparing the situation to other parties, such as PNL, where there were also single candidacies. Grindeanu reaffirmed PSD's commitment to being an honest and constructive partner within the coalition.
