President of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu: "The economic relaunch package has been accepted, finally, by the government colleagues"

The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, declared on Monday that the economic relaunch package proposed by PSD has been accepted by the governing coalition and will be approved, through an emergency ordinance, in the Government, together with measures regarding public administration.

Sorin Grindeanu also stated on Monday that there are great chances for a series of local taxes to be reduced, such as those for old houses and those for houses owned by persons with disabilities.

"There is a working variant supported by everyone. In a few days it will be presented. We have supported it. It is about, first of all, adjusting those eliminations. Those exceptions were eliminated, for example, regarding the age of the houses. An exception was given, if it was a 100-year-old house then you had a 50% reduction. If it was 50 years old, you had 30% and so on. Those exceptions have been eliminated. PSD and UDMR also proposed that for persons with disabilities the house and vehicle tax be reduced by 50%."

"I also believe that what we have been saying for five months and what we presented for five months is important, namely the economic relaunch package. We presented it in September, if you remember well. In the end, it was accepted by the government colleagues and will be approved together with the package on administration," said the president of PSD on Romania Tv.
