PSD interim president Sorin Grindeanu said the party wants its proposals for the second tax package to be accepted, after only one amendment was approved in the first package. Grindeanu noted that the PSD was isolated in the coalition and that a period of internal consultations will follow to decide whether the party will continue in the current coalition. He also highlighted the broad support for the decision to join the government, pointing out that more than 70% of PSD members voted for this option.
