Grindeanu agrees with the proposals of Pambuccian and Kelemen Hunor for unblocking the formation of the Government

The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that he agreed with the proposals made by Varujan Pambuccian and Kelemen Hunor during the discussions at the Cotroceni Palace regarding the formation of a new Government. According to the social-democratic leader, one of the options involves a political government made up of the former coalition, led by an independent prime minister, while the other entails a "government of armistice" that would set aside political divergences to manage priorities such as PNRR and the adoption of the budget.

Grindeanu appreciated that President Nicușor Dan acted correctly by convening consultations to see if the positions of the parties have changed and if there are chances for the formation of a new executive.

The PSD leader, however, stated that the proposals were not accepted by PNL and USR, which he accused of being stuck in the refusal to build a new majority.
