PSD interim president Sorin Grindeanu said that he currently has no plans to run for the party's leadership, stressing that he is focused on ministerial activities and coordinating PSD's internal processes. He noted that a party congress is planned for the autumn, in September or October, and that he does not want it to be hastily organized, despite pressure from others. Grindeanu pointed out that other parties, such as the PNL and USR, are also in interim leadership situations.
