Sorin Grindeanu stated that Oana Gheorghiu's work in the NGO sector is commendable, but it does not qualify her for the position of Deputy Prime Minister in the Government of Romania, responsible for the restructuring of state-owned companies. Grindeanu emphasized that, although there have been achievements in the construction of hospitals, these do not justify her position in the government. He expressed concern that the image of the Government could be affected by Gheorghiu's actions and mentioned that the PSD did not agree with her appointment.
