Sorin Grindeanu requested Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan to dismiss Diana Buzoianu and the new management at Apele Române, as well as to dissolve the ESZ Prahova company, involved in the water scandal in Prahova. The Prime Minister stated that he is analyzing the requests and is waiting for official reports, but the PSD is considering a simple motion, even though this does not automatically lead to dismissal, and even blocking collaboration in the coalition.
Buzoianu claims that the PSD's pressures are related to the Romsilva reform, where they refuse to maintain the county directorates desired by the social democrats. She states that she does not accept political blackmail and that she is pursuing real reform of the system. Grindeanu confirms that the PSD is reevaluating its participation in the government and that the subject of the minister's dismissal was discussed in the party.
