The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that he does not intend to publicly request the Government to take urgent measures in the face of the fuel price crisis. He emphasized that, two weeks ago, the Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, presented five scenarios to address the issue of rising prices in international markets. Grindeanu mentioned that, although the legislative framework has been approved, there are other normative acts that should have been adopted more quickly.
In an interview with Antena 3, he emphasized that the oil price crisis is a major concern, not only in Romania but also in Brussels. Grindeanu called for an acceleration of the Executive's decision-making process, stating that if he were Prime Minister, he would have acted more quickly. He also highlighted that he asked PSD ministers to mobilize to find quick solutions.
