President Nicușor Dan said that, in the short term, he does not anticipate exceptional increases in fuel prices, amid the effects of the war on the global oil market. The head of state said that Romania will monitor international developments and stressed that a diplomatic solution must be found as soon as possible.

According to the president, the Government will have to respond in real time and take measures to limit the impact of price increases at the pump.
