PNL Vice President, Gheorghe Falcă, harshly criticized, on Digi24, the PSD and AUR's move to initiate a motion of censure against the government led by Ilie Bolojan and rejected the existence of any negotiations between PNL and PSD, warning that a potential fall of the government could lead to a new PSD-AUR majority, a possibility previously considered excluded by the social-democrats.
He also mentioned the political pressure from the territory on the initiators of the motion, who promised voters quick solutions. Regarding Ilie Bolojan's support, Falcă stated that the liberal leader enjoys high trust among PNL members. The Vice President rejected the existence of any negotiations between PNL and PSD, warning that a potential fall of the government could lead to a new PSD-AUR majority, a possibility previously considered excluded by the social-democrats.
"Moreover, if the government falls through an AUR-PSD motion, the government remains in position until another government is formed and obviously, we have said that we will not govern together with PSD, USR has said that it will not govern together with PSD. It only remains to form a PSD-AUR coalition, a coalition that a few months ago was excluded by PSD," concluded Gheorghe Falcă.
The statements came after Marian Neacșu (PSD) and Petrișor Peiu (AUR) announced the start of drafting the motion.
