George Simion, the president of AUR, announced that he will support any governing coalition in which Călin Georgescu is the prime minister, without demanding that AUR be part of the government. He emphasized that his party does not wish to collaborate with the political forces that annulled the elections in Romania and mentioned that his support comes as a reparative measure for Călin Georgescu, who has suffered due to these annulments.
Simion stated that AUR has capable people for important state positions, but will not request direct participation in governance. He also specified that this openness applies to other political forces as well, including PSD, in the event that they would accept such a formula.
