Dominic Fritz revealed what he will do after he is no longer the mayor of Timișoara

Dominic Fritz said that, after his term as mayor of Timișoara ends, he could be employed by USR and receive a salary equal to the allowance associated with the mayoral position. He made the statement in the context of the provisions of the integrity law, which could affect his ability to serve his term.

Fritz says he wants to remain actively involved in USR politics and retain his position as party president. In this capacity, he intends to oversee the organization of the party, communicate its political messages, and meet with party members and citizens across the country.

The USR leader says that being remunerated by the party would be justified by the political work he performs and would avoid raising suspicions about the source of his income. He specified that the salary would not be higher than the one he received as mayor.

Regarding Timișoara City Hall, Dominic Fritz says its activity could continue without disruption if his term ended prematurely. He prefers Deputy Mayor Ruben Lațcău, also from USR, as his successor, believing that he would maintain the current administrative direction.”,
