PSD leader, Sorin Grindeanu, has announced a deadlock in the promotion of the 2nd package of fiscal measures until some key issues are clarified.

The 2nd package of fiscal and administrative measures proposed by the coalition faces a deadlock, according to PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu. Although PSD supports most of the measures, including the removal of privileges and the insolvency law, there are unclearties with the Ministry of Development. Grindeanu stressed the need for further talks to reach an agreement. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan wanted to adopt the package this week, but tensions in the coalition have led to the postponement and the assumption of responsibility could be moved to next week. The package includes important reforms in pensions, public administration, healthcare and insolvency.
