Daniel Băluță appointed Cristian Popescu Piedone as a personal advisor

Cristian Popescu Piedone, former mayor of Sectors 4 and 5, has been appointed personal advisor to the mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță. This new position aims to facilitate the relationship between Băluță and Ciprian Ciucu, considering the recent tensions between the two. Piedone will also contribute to the interaction with citizens, benefiting from his experience in the field.

Although the National Integrity Agency has prohibited Piedone from holding a public office until 2028, his new position is considered political and does not contravene this decision. The personal advisor will receive a salary, which can reach up to 75% of the mayor's salary, depending on the decisions of the sector council. Daniel Băluță, the current mayor, was deputy mayor during Piedone's term.
