The former candidate for the presidential elections, Crin Antonescu, stated that the current political situation in Romania is the result of the failure of the pro-European formula promoted in the electoral campaigns.
Antonescu emphasized that President Nicușor Dan should resign if he does not find a solution for forming a new government, considering that Romania has not had a Cabinet with full powers for 96 days. He criticized the behavior of the dismissed Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, stating that he does not act responsibly and that PNL should seek a governing formula without his involvement. Antonescu insisted on the need for the president to act decisively during this period of political uncertainty, instead of waiting for the parties to take responsibility.
