Ciprian Ciucu, message for Nicușor Dan: No one can tell us who to support for the position of prime minister / I do not believe in a "technical" solution.

The First Vice President of PNL, Ciprian Ciucu, wrote in a Facebook post that the solution does not lie in discrediting the parties, but in holding them accountable and reforming them by opening up to society, after President Nicușor Dan criticized on Wednesday evening in a speech the parties that only calculate future elections.

Ciprian Ciucu defends the role of political parties in governance, emphasizing the dangers of replacing them with technocratic governments. He warns that the idea of an exclusively technical government would diminish political responsibility towards citizens, stressing that Parliament must remain political, as political issues require political solutions. Ciucu reiterates the importance of pluralism and representative democracy, according to the Constitution of Romania, which guarantees these fundamental principles.
