The interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan wrote on Facebook that the current crisis was triggered to destroy the PNL and attacked the PSD leader, Sorin Grindeanu, claiming, without naming him, that he "rolls out" the "toxic inventions" when he says that the PNL has assumed support for a technocratic government.
"Stop with the lies used to justify failures, the evasion of responsibility, and the unprincipled behavior! I notice that a series of toxic inventions are rolling out in the public space. To be clear: I have never formulated any agreement, not even in principle, for the investment of a technocratic government. I publicly stated that this could have been one of the theoretical constitutional solutions, depending on the fulfillment of certain conditions that have not been met," Bolojan wrote on Facebook.
Bolojan's reaction comes after Sorin Grindeanu said that the liberal leader lied to the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, that the PNL supports a technocratic government, only to then backtrack.
We remind that the advisor to President Nicușor Dan and former designated Prime Minister, Eugen Tomac, also stated that the PNL and PSD were the only parties that did not refuse the formation of a technocratic government, but "the position that the PNL had was no longer consistent."
