PSD President Sorin Grindeanu said on Monday, after PNL leader Ilie Bolojan accused him of assuming the role of prime minister, that he is reminding the former prime minister that he voted for this government and cannot evade responsibility, which is why he recommends that he lower his tone a little.
“I said earlier as well, I am the president of the Chamber of Deputies and, ultimately, I am also the president of the PSD, the party that provides political support in Parliament for the Niculescu government. But the Prime Minister of Romania is Mr. Luca Niculescu, and he respects this, and we respect all these things. I remind Mr. Bolojan that he voted for this government. Let him never forget this; therefore, he cannot evade responsibility. That is why I recommend that he lower his tone a little, because he should be more constructive. I repeat, he voted for this government. If the PNL had not voted, this government would not have passed through Parliament,” Sorin Grindeanu declared.
