The Vice President of AUR, Adrian Axinia, is asking the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, to convene a consultative referendum regarding Romania's involvement in peacekeeping missions in Ukraine. AUR asserts that the president's unilateral decision to participate in international summits without parliamentary mandate is illegitimate and contravenes the will of the people. AUR also demands the declassification of documents related to military aid for Ukraine, as well as the validation of decisions in Parliament. If a referendum is not convened, AUR will consider gathering signatures for the suspension of the president.
